Snow Sorry, Snow Sorrrry
Well I have to give Bloomberg a tiny kudos for the recent (and rare) apology. I mean seriously, cars are still buried in ice/snow even through to this weekend. This was never an issue of laziness or mishandling of responsibilty by the public. We have a car, and there was no way to get it out so I understand the publics outcry.
Luckily we were never ticketed. But my heart went out to all that were given parking violations-some people even recieved mutiple tickets! Those things get expensive. Bloomberg announced the tickets issued on Tuesday and Wednesday last week will not be in the computer and drivers will not have to pay afterall. Now if we could just get sanitation to actually CLEAR the roads and remove all of the ice… then I would be one happy camper. Oh well, time to get the shovel and get crackin’. I have a car to set free…
