Apparently Chef Hadley has crabs.
I made a mistake about a GG food item. Chef Hadley’s empanada had a creamier taste than I am achieving with any of my root experiments. Chef Hadley used parsnips and butternut squash. I totally forgot.
Hadley not only hit me up with some comments … I also got an offer.
He has a new pasta maker that he is itching to try out and suggested making a dinner of Red Pepper Pasta and Pan Fried Soft Shell Crabs. What is a girl with a huge ole apartment (with backyard), a hungry boyfriend, and a pack of foodie friends in Cobble Hill to do?
Host a dinner party! DUH.
I am setting a date for dinner after all my Fashion Week work. Did I say week? Did I say work? Oh I meant to say Fashion Month slavery. Let me shut up already. LOL, I love it. Honestly, I am grateful for the work. As many point out in the NYC…if you can pay the rent you are doing great. Just paying rent truly is an achievment here! I have found that in NY people ask “what do you do” less than the “how much is your rent, how big is your apartment, and where do you live” questions.
As I said before, I have a big apartment so I am sharing the wealth. Dinner, my place, date TBD.
